ArtsWorcester is presenting photographer James Hunt’s exhibition, Under the Highway: Blackstone River Landscapes. This exhibit is a narrative series that highlights the human impact on the three-mile section of the Blackstone River in Worcester and Millbury that is now a bikeway. Industrial and urban components coupled with the natural beauty of the river struck Hunt as an eerie scene that needed to be captured.

The Brew Barn: Collaboration Between Red Apple Farm and Moon Hill Brewing Company

Concert Review:  Imagine Dragons

Xfinity Center in Mansfield came alive recently with a completely full house to welcome Imagine Dragons, a band who I feel has only just begun to show us what they are capable of.  Rising to super-stardom status in the short span of 10 years, we are all familiar with mega hits “Radioactive” and “Demons,” and the latest album they are touring to promote, Evolve, showed an entirely new level of talent – blending pop, rock and even hip-hop elements seamlessly to appeal to a uniquely diverse fan-base.

WAM Upcoming Exhibition: Stained Glass Windows by Tiffany and La Farge

For more than 40 years, stained glass work by Louis C. Tiffany and John La Farge held by the Worcester Art Museum (WAM) have not been viewed. Originally commissioned for Boston’s Mount Vernon Congregational Church in the late 1890s, the large stained glass works were donated to WAM in 1975, when the church vacated it’s building, later saving the pieces from subsequent ruin caused by a fire to the church in 1978.
